A choir organ in box form, a prototype with exceptional capabilities and great tonal variety.
This mobile instrument consists of three parts that can be put together as needed. The organ serves as a supplement to the main organ in church services or concerts. The ingenuity of small Baroque organs served as our inspiration. The basis is a large chamber organ with seven stops, some of which are divided into bass and treble and tuned in a modified Bach-Billeter temperament. A transposable second manual and an external 16' Sub Bass transform this chamber organ into a complete instrument.
The specification is by Rudolf Meyer, who supported the project as an expert. This choir organ offers a variety of musical possibilities: In addition to continuo playing, it can accompany the congregation during services, and it can be used to interpret a wide variety of organ repertoire, especially early music.
Various musicians profile the instrument on the CD ‘d' Venus vo Bülach’.
