A revitalised teaching and practice instrument.
We installed this organ, built by Orgelbau Graf in 1984 for a teachers' seminar in Biel, in the new Belfort Conservatoire in 2014. All stops were revoiced; in place of a Mixture we installed the absent 8' open Diapason and in place of a 1 1/3' Quint, a Terzian. We gave the grey, rather gloomy aesthetic a more cheerful look with the use of striking colours.
Now the conservatoire has a generous instrument at its disposal, bringing joy to young and old alike.
