    Conservatory CNSM

    Paris (F)

This organ was designed and built in the French Romantic style, in homage to some of the best historical instruments of the second half of the 19th century.

The instrument is primarily a valuable working instrument for students. It is suitable for both practising and teaching. The extensive stoplist and the design of the voicing are intended as a source of musical inspiration. The range of the manuals from C1 to C6 allows the organist to play the entire existing repertoire.
The pedal stops are taken from the Great and can be played as 8' (direct) and/or 4' (by transmission). As a result, they open up new perspectives and expand the sound combinations considerably.
The project was planned with the support of both CNSM professors, Olivier Latry and Michel Bouvard, and realised in close collaboration with the pipe-builder Marco Venegoni.
