Peter Meier Organbuilders and Atelier Luc Meurice have built this special table-organ in collaboration. It is designed to do justice to the rich repertoire for organs tuned to meantone-tuning, for both teaching and concert purposes.
The newly developed instrument, inspired by the Herz organ at Wilten Abbey (Austria), features a highly complex transmission chest, whereby three stops are derived from one pipe row comprising 75 pipes. This keeps the case compact and ensures that the organ can be tuned very quickly.
No negativ impact to the polyphonie due to the transmission-system can been noticed.
