Small, compact, ideal for practice, aesthetically unique.
With the fewest possible stops, a compact case and a simple form, this practice organ has been pared down to a minimum. Nevertheless, it is a fully-fledged musical instrument with as few compromises as possible to the sound.
For a soft sound, the organ has exclusively wooden pipes. The 8' Principal is open from F. The Prospect pipes speak inwards, and their fronts are rounded in imitation of metal pipes, following the English 17th-century model. The 4' Flute is built as a stopped flute in the bass, a reed flute in the middle register, and open in the treble. The Stopped Diapason has a neutral, robust sound. Clear character differences between the stops, and a sensitive but not overly-light action, are intended to support daily practice.
The case is made of oiled and waxed cherry wood and has a curved front. For the pipe shade, organ metal was cast by hand to create an exciting random shape.
