• Dietwil Truhenorgel

    Catholic church / Conservatory

    Dietwil / Lucerne (CH)

These two identical chamber organs have a very broad range of sound options.

The broad sound palette permits continuo playing and solo music, as well as the accompaniment of church services.
All stops are made of wood, with the exception of the Manderscheidt-style metal Regal. The instrument is transposable to four different pitches and tunable to all temperaments, making it an excellent instrument for the appropriate interpretation of older music. In the conservatoire context, students can practise tuning.
The grilles are carved by Albert Balogh and are inspired by the Rococo embellishment of the Dietwil church.
